Telly the Conquerer didn’t participate in the training session (due to lack of bike) – but he did spend our training session offering words of encouragement… while eating sweets! Our perseverance and dedication was put to the test. We definitely need to get him a bike and trainer ready for our next session.
I have never had such a difficult training session. Between waves of nausea, the pain from my finger (I think I broke it on Saturday) and the hard-core demands of trainer Troy McLure – I was struggling. I don’t think I made much sense once our stint was over – but I pulled through.
Needless to say, I have learnt a thing or two:
- The amount of alcohol consumed the night the before directly impacts the enjoyment of riding
- Ladan puts on a pretty awesome spread so will have to ensure I am feeling good enough to enjoy it next time
As you can see, I am committed to my training regime and will be more than ready for the 200km ride. So please donate to my cause – I need to raise $2500 in order to participate in this ride. Click here to donate today.
My team – OPP – onTaRiO pEdAL pushers – needs $15,000 combined donations in order to ride. A challenge but acheiveable with your help.
